The problem

Large assembly floors run on line-of-sight supervision. Most floors are too large.

A 200-station assembly floor cannot be supervised by walking. Progress per station is tracked manually or not at all. Bottlenecks become visible at end-of-shift, when nothing can be done about them. Worker location during an emergency is whatever the supervisor remembers seeing last.

The floor manager spends the day reacting to information that is hours old. The HR team has no roster of who is on the floor right now. The safety team has no way to confirm everyone evacuated.

Our solution

A floor that reports itself.

RTLS-tagged worker badges and station-level production counters give a live picture of the floor. Supervisors see who is where, which stations are on rate, and which are falling behind — in real time, on a single dashboard.

During an emergency, HR and safety can confirm zone evacuations against the live roster. During normal operations, the data feeds back into roster planning, training, and bottleneck analysis. The floor stops being opaque.

“Real-time visibility for safer and smarter assembly operations.”

Key benefits

What you can expect.

Outcomes are measured against deployed-site baselines, not vendor specs.

Live worker presence

Zone-level location visibility for badged workers. Designed for safety response, not productivity surveillance.

Station-level progress

Each station reports cycle time, throughput, and queue depth. Bottlenecks become visible during the shift, not after.

Evacuation confirmation

During fire drills or emergencies, HR confirms zone-by-zone clearance against the live roster. Two-minute audits, not 20-minute ones.

Designed with HR and safety

The system was scoped with HR and safety leads in the room. Worker consent and data-handling protocols are part of the deployment, not an afterthought.

Why Webtech Space Centre

Why Webtech Space Centre specifically.

We design with HR, not just IT

Worker tracking is a labour-relations question before it is a technical one. Our deployments include HR and union (where applicable) review of the data-handling and consent model.

Operations expertise, not surveillance expertise

The same engineering team that builds your SCADA and MES builds this. The frame is operational visibility — not employee monitoring.

Indian-context labour law

We have deployed under Indian factory and labour regulations, with the data-retention and access controls those frameworks require. Not retrofitted from a US-context product.

Book a demo

Let's see how Assembly Management fits your line.

Tell us a bit about your operation and we'll come back within one working day with a structured demo and an honest fit assessment. Demo can be remote or on-site at our Delhi studio — whichever suits you.

  • Demo runs against a real production line, not a slide deck
  • Fit assessment is honest — including when our solution is not the right answer
  • Indicative pricing and timeline shared in the same meeting
