Industrial Automation Studio · Engineered in New Delhi · Deployed worldwide

This Privacy Notice describes how Webtech Space Centre (referred to as "WSC", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal data when you interact with our websites, services, products (including the Inspxion machine-vision range and the WSC AMR/AGV robotics line), or our team.

We are an India-headquartered industrial automation business serving clients in India, the United States, Europe, and Sudan. Where we process personal data of individuals located in jurisdictions with their own data-protection laws — including the EU/UK (GDPR), India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), or California (CPRA) — we apply the protections required by those laws.

1. Who is the data controller

Webtech Space Centre is the controller of personal data collected through our websites and during our client engagements. You can reach our team about any data matter at gupta.ak@webspacecentre.com or by post to our New Delhi office.

2. What personal data we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details — name, email, phone, employer, job title — when you fill in a form, request a demo, apply for a job, or correspond with us.
  • Project information you share with us during scoping, commissioning, or support — only what is necessary to deliver the engagement.
  • Recruitment data — CV, work history, references, and right-to-work documentation — if you apply for a position with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps — for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see our separate Cookie Policy for details.

Information from third parties

  • Publicly available business information about prospective clients (company website, LinkedIn profiles).
  • Information shared with us by referrers, partners, or recruitment agencies.

3. Why we use your data

We process personal data for specific, defined purposes:

  • Delivering services — including project management, technical support, and ongoing managed services for our automation, IoT, and robotics deployments.
  • Responding to enquiries — processing your requests, demos, or quotation requests.
  • Recruitment — assessing applications, conducting interviews, and managing offers.
  • Marketing — sending newsletters, event invitations, and product updates only to contacts who have opted in or who are existing clients within the same category of services.
  • Legal and regulatory compliance — including tax, accounting, export-control, and contractual obligations.
  • Security and abuse prevention — detecting fraudulent or malicious activity on our systems.

4. Legal bases we rely on

Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases under GDPR, India's DPDP Act, and equivalent regulations:

  • Performance of a contract — where the processing is necessary to deliver a service you have engaged us to provide.
  • Legitimate interests — for example, to keep our systems secure, improve our products, and manage business-to-business relationships, where these interests do not override your rights.
  • Consent — for marketing communications and for non-essential cookies; you can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.

5. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only with:

  • Our team and group entities in India and any future regional offices.
  • Service providers and processors — cloud hosting, email infrastructure, customer relationship management, payment processors — under written contracts that bind them to confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Project partners where you have engaged us alongside another vendor and the engagement requires data sharing.
  • Authorities when required by law, court order, or regulatory request.

Because we operate across India, the US, Europe, and Sudan, your personal data may be transferred to, and stored in, jurisdictions outside your home country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms to protect data in transit.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, plus any further period required by law or contract. As a guide:

  • Enquiry and contact form data — up to twelve months from last contact, unless an engagement results.
  • Client engagement records — for the duration of the engagement plus seven years for accounting and contractual records.
  • Recruitment data for unsuccessful applicants — up to twelve months, with consent; otherwise deleted after the role is filled.
  • Marketing list data — until you unsubscribe.
  • Server logs — up to twelve months for security purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten") in defined circumstances.
  • Restrict or object to certain types of processing.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

To exercise any of these rights, write to gupta.ak@webspacecentre.com. We aim to respond within ten working days and within the statutory deadline of your jurisdiction.

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit, role-based access control, regular vulnerability scanning, and security awareness training for our team. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Children

Our services are designed for industrial and business clients. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under sixteen. If you believe we hold data about a minor, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of the page reflects the latest version. Material changes will be notified through the website or by email where appropriate.
